I utilize as needed CBT, EMDR, Geek Therapy, and ecotherapy walk and talk model.
CBT is goal oriented and focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thinking and behavior.
EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to help you effectively work through disturbing incidents.
Geek Therapy encompasses many different paradigms of thought, intellectual curiosities, and specialized interests outside of "normal" social conformity. This can range from relating to characters or finding a video game to play together or relate to.
Ecotherapy, also known as nature based therapy, utilizes nature to benefit from its healing capabilities.
I am currently accepting new clients for telehealth. I am having to take a break from ecotherapy walk and talk. It is important to find a therapist that you feel comfortable working with.
