You are functioning. That's part of the problem — it's why no one has asked. Steady at work and unrecognizable at home. Holding a marriage together while hiding the thing dismantling it. Carrying a behavior you've promised yourself you would stop, and have, several times. Most people name one concern when they call. Most find it tied to two more they hadn't planned to discuss, because a life doesn't sort itself into a single presenting problem. I'm direct. I'll ask what you want, then what you're willing to give up to get it. That exchange is what produces an outcome. You'll leave sessions with skills, not only insight.

I hold a Ph.D. in clinical sexology, licensure as a clinical counselor and social worker, and certification in treating compulsive sexual behavior. My work centers on compulsive and sexually abusive behavior, betrayal, intimacy, and identity. I also complete forensic evaluations, supervise clinicians, and train criminal justice professionals.

None of that is meant to impress you. It means whatever you have been carrying alone has been said in this room before, usually by someone who was certain they were the exception. So you don't need language for it yet. Bring it unfinished. One conversation is enough to know whether this is the right fit, and I'll tell you if it isn't.
