We are all faced with a myriad of obstacles, adjustments and stressors throughout our lives. Starting a family and navigating the role of new parent can be one of the biggest. Whether working through the postpartum adjustment, navigating the ever changing role as parent or walking through the many transitions and difficulties of being a child, I work with adults and children to find ways best suited to master these obstacles and surmount life's challenges.
In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am also a Registered Play Therapist and have extensive experience and training working with children as young as 3 years old. I am also currently in the process of obtaining my Perinatal Mental Health Certification for further training and specialization in working with prenatal and postpartum women.
I work from an inclusive approach and firmly believe treatment is best implemented in a collaborative and comprehensive way. In doing so, when working with children I frequently meet with caregivers to provide consistent support to aid in their child's growth and healing.
