I work with adults and young children (birth - 5) using a warm, collaborative approach. My adult specialties include anxiety, depression, perinatal mental health, parenting and bonding difficulties, NICU experiences, and abortion. I also value supporting single parents. I aim to foster growth by exploring past experiences, relationships and patterns within a secure therapeutic relationship. I'm committed to practice through an anti-oppressive stance and recognize that many internal struggles are reflective of systemic, sociopolitical issues.
I also support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers using attachment and play-based approaches. My specializations include anxiety, early/pre-verbal trauma, soothing and eating difficulties, medical complexities, sensory processing issues, and developmental delays. I have past experience in the NICU and early childhood special education settings.
Some infants & toddlers have difficult beginnings that lend to early developmental and relational challenges. I support parents in reading their child's cues, soothing, playing together and bonding. By supporting families early-on, we can build a foundation for healthy relationships and emotion regulation.
