My goal is to help anyone who's struggling realize that it doesn't have to be so hard. I help build healthy coping skills and break the cycle of behavior patterns that aren't working, and learn to manage feelings and emotions so that they are not overwhelming. I specialize in Eating Disorders as well as depression and anxiety. I believe that we can work together to change, build better relationships and help you feel more connected and happy in your life.
I have been practicing for over 15 years and my approach is interactive, respectful and down to earth. When we meet, I will listen to you first, but I will also respond, ask questions, and offer feedback. I will support you and I will challenge you, in order to promote growth and change.
I specialize in the treatment of Eating Disorders (Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorders, and Eating Disorders Not Otherwise Specified EDNOS) for all ages, women over 35, men with eating disorders, and Jewish women and Orthodox Jewish Women. I provide individual counseling as well as family and group therapy. CBT, DBT skills, interpersonal/relational, psychodynamic therapy.
