About
You want what's best for your child. You see them struggling and have tried everything, but need more. If you are concerned about the intensity of your teen's mood swings, at a loss with your preschooler's tantrums, afraid that your child is not coping as well as you expected with a major life change, or feel you are at battle with your child, I am here to help. With over 15 yrs working with kids, I understand their unique needs. As your therapist, I will partner with you to help your child heal, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and restore harmony within the family.
I'm a Registered Play Therapist; utilizing a research based modality shown to help children: learn & express emotions appropriately, develop new/creative decision/problem solving skills, increase responsibility for self & respect others, cultivate empathy, & learn new social skills to build peer/family relationships. Also trained in ERP, I specialize in OCD.
I believe passionately in the power of play & have created a practice specializing in kids & families. With extensive knoweldge of school related issues, I can help navigate the educational system.
