Investing time to know my clients is essential to me as we are all impacted by family, social, cultural, and economical factors. I feel it is important that clients are given a safe space to share their stories. I have worked with children, teens, married couples, parents, and adults with various life situations, including people experiencing homelessness and addiction. I also have a history of working with individuals involved in ministry settings. I am a practical strategist for supporting people through life’s difficulties. As a heartfelt listener I love to help people find hope when they otherwise feel stuck.
Through training and experience I have developed the ability to counsel a number of mental health concerns such as relational conflict, depression, anxiety, codependency, grief, addiction, and trauma recovery. I am trained in EMDR, an effective treatment backed by research for Trauma, PTSD and anxiety.
Using the enneagram as a tool for self-clarity and self-awareness has also been of great benefit to myself and others.
