As a licensed mental health counselor and EMDR therapist, I have had many opportunities to serve a variety of populations and help clients overcome both personal and professional challenges. I have a passion for helping teens and adults develop coping skills to manage their life stressors. I have had significant therapeutic experience working with clients experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, behavior problems, anger, and grief and loss.
I utilize different therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and interpersonal techniques to help make the counseling sessions effective for the client. I am very passionate about my clients and I provide a safe, calming environment to help build the therapeutic relationship and allow my client to feel comfortable.
I enjoy helping others reach their goals and to help others move forward from stressful events they have encountered. If you find yourself in distress, I would be motivated and welcome the opportunity to help you overcome the challenges you are facing.
