Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in applied communications and her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from The University of Akron. While completing her graduate studies, she took specialized coursework in addiction counseling. Sarah considers herself a lifelong learner.
Sarah’s approach to counseling is client centered, as she believes in meeting clients where they are at in terms of change. She believes in empowering clients in taking control of their own lives through Motivational Interviewing (MI) and finding solutions to everyday life stressors.
