About
I conduct developmental (including autism assessment) and psychoeducational assessments to identify obstacles to socialization and learning, and develop recommendations for IEP/504 plans. I work with parents to help how they relate to their infants/toddlers, children, and teens, particularly tough kids (i.e. oppositional defiant) and children with other daily struggles. I also perform gifted assessments for preschool and school-aged children. For individuals struggling with life transitions, or issues related to anxiety and ADHD, I conduct cognitive-behavioral and organizational training to promote improvements to daily functioning.
As a developmental psychologist, I am beholden to peer-reviewed literature as foundational to my clinical approach. I work from a dynamic systems perspective and consider the impact of multiple bioecological forces on microgenetic change over time to determine how to best help clients, particularly parents and students, succeed.
