About
An experienced, well-trained, contemporary psychotherapist, in practice for over 25 years, I work with adults from diverse backgrounds who are struggling to cope with life events, anxiety, depression, difficulties in relationships, bereavement, alcohol abuse, the interaction between psychological states and physical symptoms, and work and career-related problems. I work to help you alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression, understand and change self-defeating patterns, improve self-esteem and self-confidence, challenge negative perceptions, and learn new problem-solving and coping strategies.
I practice psychodynamic treatment, and I also use cognitive/behavioral techniques to reduce symptomatology. Insight-oriented work is often utilized to further self-awareness, promote well-being and solidify gains. My style is interactive.
Psychotherapy offers help with difficult events, challenging times and life-stage changes. These situations offer opportunities for you to overcome barriers and experience life in new ways. My goal is to help you reach your potential and have a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
