When you experience trauma and/or attachment wounding in your life, you can feel out of touch with your true Self. You may be living in survival mode, constantly trying to protect yourself, or acting out of fear and scarcity, without confidence that you are stable and strong at your core. You may be able to keep it all together…as long as nothing unexpected happens. Living in this state feels exhausting! This can adversely affect relationships, daily functioning, mental health, physical health, and spiritual health.
I believe the purpose of therapy is to engage in internal healing in order to live more authentically in the external world. As a therapist, my role is to create a space where it feels safe enough for you to feel and process difficult emotions and memories, foster the emergence of your higher Self, and encourage you to follow the wisdom of your higher Self.
My counseling style integrates Internal Family Systems therapy, mindfulness-based counseling, attachment work, and EMDR trauma therapy. I also hold space for spiritual transformation, including releasing ancestral legacy burdens, as well as tuning in with your own spiritual guides to remember your deeper sense of purpose.
