My sessions use mindfulness, practicing self regulation, cognitive restructuring, imago skills, play therapy and many other techniques that are relevant to a client's treatment plan. I am experienced in trauma treatment, marriage and relationship counseling, grief and loss therapy , and cognitive behavior therapy. I offer mental health interventions for addictions treatment. I offer EMDR and brain spotting for trauma treatment. I have a multicultural practice as I focus on immigrant issues like parenting and adjustment.
I have deep empathy and personal life experiences for parenting stress, early childhood loss, and body image. I work with families on cross cultural adaptation and parenting skills. I work with young adults on managing life transitions, stress, depression and failure to launch. I work with immigrant families on adjustment and family relationships.
