I am a dually licensed therapist credentialed as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with training and experience in treating adults and teenagers with substance use and issues that effect mental health, such as trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity confusion, and relationship challenges. We'll examine what's wrong and begin to heal from the past, creating new ways of thinking and being.
I practice person-centered therapy, which relies on strategies focused on healing through relationships and connection to others, while using evidence-based behavioral interventions and the change model. I believe in interdisciplinary, harm-reduction approaches to treating addiction, understanding the challenges to treatment as usual and returning to use.
