About
Do you struggle with unstable relationships? Fear being alone? Think of yourself as not good enough or unworthy? Engage in self-destructive behavior? Think about or engage in self harm or have thoughts of suicide? Do you want to learn tools to better cope with these issues interfering in your day to day happiness? I can help you. I can teach you skills to cope with uncomfortable feelings, gain control of your emotions, and have happy and successful relationships.
While I primarily use Dialetical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), I have experience in and will use certain aspects of other modalities such as CBT, Solution Focused, and Motivational Interviewing. DBT teaches us how to accept things as they are in order to learn how to manage and cope with things we cannot control.
Relationships are an integral part of happiness in our life. Feeling safe and worthy is imperative to your sense of self worth. As a social worker, I believe clients know themselves best and therefore I work with clients to develop goals. If you want to take charge of your treatment, please reach out to me today.
