Everyone around me inspires me, including my clients. As a clinician, I feel privileged to witness my clients journeys. I am motivated by others and the world around me and I let this positive energy direct me as a clinical mental health counselor. I draw from previous clinical experiences, which include working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and those struggling with significant trauma responses.
I utilize a client centered approach in treatment, utilizing theories from mindfulness, trauma focused therapy, EMDR, and internal family systems.I tailor techniques that guide my client's recovery, allowing them to access their own personal power associated with treatment. Together, we can access your own capacity to heal and grow.
Managing complex emotions is difficult for everyone, and we really are not meant to go at it alone.
