Hello! If you’ve come to my page you are probably seeking someone to walk with you through a potentially painful journey. Whether you’ve been to see a therapist before or this is your first time, this can be a scary decision to make. People will choose to come to see me if they are struggling with past or current abuse, complex trauma (including childhood abuse and domestic violence), Binge Eating Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, self worth issues, grief and loss, difficulty with boundaries and attachment in relationships, and many more life issues.
I have been a practicing clinician for 23 years and bring that experience to each of my sessions. I prefer to utilize Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Internal Family Systems and mindfulness based practices.
I believe each person is the expert in their own life, but I do have experience and training in how to help people make the changes they desire. I can be a partner and provide a safe, empathetic, and compassionate space for this change. Together, we can work toward finding balance, healing and acceptance.
