I’m a clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges, including mental health concerns, career transitions, relationships, and parenting. My approach is warm, engaged, and collaborative. I see therapy as a joint effort, bringing my full attention, curiosity, compassion, and skill to each person I work with. My goal is to help patients understand the roots of their suffering—often leading not only to symptom relief but to greater resilience, more fulfilling relationships, and increased efficacy and creativity.
My stance is primarily psychodynamic, based on training at Long Island University, where I earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. My training included work in schools, hospitals, and the William Alanson White Institute. Today, I teach and supervise doctoral students at Yeshiva University, in addition to maintaining a private practice in Brooklyn Heights.
I enjoy treating a variety of adults and I have a special interest in couples therapy and in working with parents and children. If you’re interested in consultation or treatment for yourself or a family member, I’d be happy to hear from you.
