I am here to bring hope to people who are hurting. Every person, made in the image of God, is valuable. My personal mission statement is "to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free", taken from Isaiah 61:1. With compassion, I try to help each person untangle what is often "the web" of their situation and assist them in overcoming difficult circumstances in life. A person may have been abused and feel great stress, despair, and even torment. Regardless of your life story, I believe that with God, there is a clear pathway to a better life.
In my approach, I apply biblical promises, insights, & prayer to help people come to the root of the problem and make better choices. I teach self-soothing skills to be used outside counseling sessions. Empowering each person to build good self-esteem is often an additional aspect of my approach.
It is my goal to relate to people uniquely. I rely on the Holy Spirit, experience, and my training to be the guide in helping that person to a better life of peace.
