In my work with clients, I create a safe, compassionate space to unpack and explore these issues, and to be a companion on your journey toward healing, growth, and transformation. My specialties are counseling individuals who have cancer, fertility concerns, and/or medical issues, grief therapy, supporting family caregivers taking care of ill loved ones, counseling healthcare workers, & working through religious trauma. I also use my assessment and writing skills to conduct thorough psychosocial evaluations for immigration cases.
I strive to be warm, affirming, & culturally sensitive, & I am personally rooted in a desire for social justice. I recently relocated to be near family in Michigan, but I continue to work with clients from the DC area through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, & I'm independently licensed in DC, MD, VA, LA, & MI.
