Are you a worrier? Do you have difficulty saying “no” or have a constant need to please others? I can help. I am a bilingual therapist specialized in anxiety. I can work with you to develop tools, build on communication skills and help identify strategies that will work for you and will help you feel more comfortable with who you are. The therapy that I offer provides support to rediscover strengths and identify new ones.
I focus on how the present may be affected by past experiences. My approach is to work backwards, exploring current struggles and looking at these as a response to difficult past traumatic situations. The human brain, with training, is capable of creating new connections.
I obtained my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology in 2008 and a Masters in Social Work in 2011 from North Carolina State University.
