About
I am happy to see the recent focus on the importance of mental health. After a pandemic, difficult social change, and economic uncertainty, it is normal to feel anxiety about the future. I am "down to earth" and "easy to talk to" which helps people work through issues more deeply. Using evidence-based approaches, I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and humanistic psychology to help clients move forward in meaningful ways. I tailor therapy to each individual and include all aspects of a person's life, including family dynamics, cultural factors, job / financial pressures, coping skills and health/ wellness.
With more than a decade of experience, I work effectively with clients struggling with issues ranging from depression and anxiety to addiction and relationship problems. Through my strengths-based, holistic approach, I help clients shift from having insight about problems to actually making day-to-day, positive changes.
I earned my Masters in Social Work from USC and have trained in mindfulness at UCLA. I am currently accepting new clients and would be happy to set up a free phone consultation to see if I am a good fit for your needs. Best way to get in touch initially is through email. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you!
