Seeking therapy is a brave and vulnerable step. My specialty is counseling women who are strong, but feel weighed down by trauma, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, and self worth. Perhaps you are seeking therapy because something feels broken in your life: relationships are disconnected, a story haunts you from the past, or emotions are overwhelming. Perhaps you are running from some hidden grief or rejection, and you feel restless or wounded as a result. I can help. You are not alone, and you don't have to stay stuck. Through sessions together you will learn compassion for yourself, which empowers healthier relationships.
I offer a nonjudgmental space for you to process your fears, panic, shame, racing thoughts, lack of motivation, and difficult relationships. I work collaboratively and relationally with you. This means my goal is to empower you, ask questions that help you think for yourself, dig deep into where behaviors and patterns come from and be attuned to you.
Our work will integrate past memories and present struggles. I also pay attention to how the body carries trauma: insomnia, binge eating, harsh self-talk, etc. How you care for yourself matters.
