I'm passionate about helping people find their own power and work to cultivate a safe space for all. My hope is that clients’ will leave feeling more empowered and more able to advocate for themselves.
Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to "help people," even though I had no idea what that would look like! Prior to being in private practice, I worked in different community orgs. I had the privilege of being an Advocate at two different dual DV/Rape Crisis Centers, doing all the things...crisis counseling, safety planning, responding to hospitals in the middle of the night as a first responder & attending court.
You might say that sexual violence, IPV and DV are my lane so to speak. But, I love working with all populations! I see adolescents and anyone aged 12+, and have expertise in trauma, PTSD, SIB/self-harm, depression, anxiety, grief, chronic illness, relationship challenges, life transitions, 2SLGBTQ+, and my ASD/neuro-spicy friends!
I use a person-centered, strength-based, holistic approach. Each therapeutic treatment plan is tailored to that specific individual. I use a buffet style of evidence-based modalities at different times. You are the expert! I'm here to provide support, knowledge and encouragement. No life is perfect, including mine. But, it can get Better & you do Matter!
