I work with adults (21+) healing from relational and complex trauma; I especially enjoy supporting adult children of emotionally immature or narcissistic parents. My approach is trauma and antagonism-informed, helping you understand how your nervous system has adapted to past harm while supporting you in building safety, choice, self-trust, and connection to your authentic self.

As a certified EMDR therapist, I move gently at your pace, helping untangle what keeps you stuck and creating space for ease and connection. I use a strengths-based, compassionate approach that makes therapy both empowering and approachable. I often incorporate Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and ACT to support healing in mind and body.

This 10-week biweekly virtual therapy group is for anyone who identifies as a daughter and grew up with an emotionally immature parent. Led by Sara Forcella, LCSW, Certified EMDR Therapist, trained by Dr. Lindsay Gibson, the group provides education, support, and space to understand how emotional immaturity impacts your relationships, self-worth, and nervous system. Together we’ll explore boundaries, emotional regulation, family dynamics, and reconnecting with your authentic self. This closed group meets every other Wednesday from 5:30–7 PM for $55 per session. Open to adults 25+ living in North Carolina or Connecticut.
