I operate from the perspective that therapy is not about changing ourselves. Rather, therapy is simply creating space for the seemingly dark, fearful, and shameful parts within us. These parts want to be seen and accepted, just as we all do. In sessions, I encourage my client to allow their body and inner wisdom to drive the progression of the therapeutic process. I believe that healing occurs as we gently move towards non-resistance and self-acceptance. This process catalyzes the body’s innate ability to transform emotions, the conscious, and the subconscious mind.

My areas of focus include trauma, relationship issues, family of origin issues, religious/spiritual trauma, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. With my background in nursing and kinesiology, I also enjoy working with athletic performance, injury recovery, and disordered eating. I utilize modalities such as EMDR, Brainspotting, IFS, SE, CBT, & DBT.
