As a Pakistani-American Muslim woman, my overlapping identities enable me to work with a variety of clients. I approach therapy with a culturally aware, faith-based, anti-oppressive and strengths-based lens, allowing clients to reach deep within themselves to explore their hidden potential and build upon healthy coping skills and resources to break self-destructive patterns. I am also an "Apartheid-Free Business" under the Austin Against Apartheid campaign, where I have pledged to divest from primary BDS targets.

I aim for humility and open-mindedness; clients will find me equally supportive while gently challenging and redirecting them where necessary. I aspire toward a model called "decolonial therapy", which sits at the crossroads of the psychological, political, ancestral, and collective, and is accessible while offering a path to liberation and healing.

I am proud to work with many students, young professionals, and young adults, especially those who are trying therapy out for the first time, or are switching over from a therapist they may not have connected well with.
