My experience is grounded in trauma-informed care, and I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, long-term shelters, and transitional housing programs. I have worked with young adults to older adults, addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, spirituality, and adjustment disorders, using a diverse range of evidence-based practices. I am dedicated to providing a validating, non-judgmental, and healing space where clients feel valued, heard, and empowered. In my practice, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
As a Muslim immigrant woman living in the U.S., I have faced a unique set of challenges that have shaped who I am today.
