I have a passion for working with people who are hurting. With gentle compassion, wisdom and humor, I help people create change to bring a sense of peace and order back into their lives. I have a Master's degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo and have been in practice since 2007.
I have experience and training in working with various issues: anxiety, depression, grief, marital issues, childhood trauma, chronic illness, panic disorder, gay and lesbian issues, adjustment issues, sexual trauma, bipolar and schizophrenia disorder. As a mother of a disabled child, I work with many families with special needs children.
I understand their stress and grief. Siblings often have their own special needs. Parents often cope differently from one another. This can add stress to an already stressful household. I help family members through their journey of grief and adjustment, helping them to realize what is truly important in life.
