Taking the step to start therapy can be difficult and filled with mixed emotions; everybody deserves the best chance in the game of life.I'm here to help you play the cards you've been dealt-just with a little more intention and strategy. I am a LCMHC, CRC, and a facilitator for MHFA. My years of experience providing individual, child/couple/family, and completing various psychological assessments allows me to keep my focus on my client, their needs, and the ebbs and flows of life. It is my hope to help the person's life become more manageable, instead of life managing the person.

I know how difficult it can be to reach out when you are drowning, much less summon the energy to find someone who will be a good fit. I am so glad you are here. My approach is primarily person-centered which means that I believe clients are the experts of their own lives. I see myself as a curious consultant who walks beside clients on their mental wellness journey, rather than assuming they need to be "fixed". I work with ADHD, depression, anxiety, life transitions, pet grief, attachment and childhood trauma-related concerns, identity exploration, self-compassion, imposter syndrome, emotion regulation, and stress management.

At times, life can feel like trying to steer a parked car - you’re hoping to move, but the wheels won’t turn. Therapy, for many, becomes a place to begin moving again. Starting on unmarked and unfamiliar terrain can be daunting. With this in mind, I am passionate about providing an open and secure environment that allows you to express yourself authentically and regain momentum. As you steer your car, I partner alongside you with creativity and compassion.

Many people come to therapy carrying a sense of disconnection: from themselves, their bodies, or the way they move through the world. I approach therapy with the belief that our experiences shape not only our thoughts, but our nervous systems, patterns, and sense of self. I work collaboratively with individuals, creating an emotionally safe and grounded space where one can feel truly seen and heard. A central focus of my work is helping clients shift the narrative from “What’s wrong with me?” to “What happened to me, and how did it shape my nervous system, beliefs, and patterns?”

Therapy is a unique experience for each person and couple. It helps you learn about yourself, your relationships and how you interact with the world. It can be a place to find healing and self-understanding. As a counselor, my approach is integrative, but grounded in attachment theory. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling. For couples therapy, I utilize Emotionally Focussed Therapy, which is backed by over 20 years of research on attachment relationship patterns. Research shows that approximately 90% of couples show significant improvements.
