Are you a Black woman, identify as LGBTQ+, or did you grow up in an immigrant household where you had to be the strong one, always showing up but rarely feel supported? Have you felt admired for your resilience but on the inside you're struggling with depression, anxiety, & desperately need a space where you can put yourself first? Many, like yourself, deal with women's issues where society tends to value others which then forces them to have to carry complex & powerful identities that expects them to be strong, silent, & selfless. If you're ready to stop holding everything all together, now might be the time to start therapy.
With 10+ years of counseling experience, I specialize in helping Black, Queer, and immigrant women finally put themselves first. During counseling, we will explore the responsibilities that you have that create overwhelm, we will develop an effective self-care plan, and we will identify ways to establish healthy boundaries.
If and when you are ready, submit your request on Psychology Today. You don't have to carry it all alone. Let's work together to get you the support you deserve. Therapy services are provided online to folks in both New York and Pennsylvania. Each session is $175 ($200 for couples) and my openings are M-Th 9am to 4pm.
