I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and disordered eating. I also have experience treating anxiety disorders, problems with self-esteem or body image, depression, and emotion dysregulation. I provide evidence-based treatment that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Family-based Treatment principles. I am committed to and passionate about helping improve emotional and behavioral health.
I aim to provide a safe and supportive space for clients and believe in a collaborative therapeutic approach. I work with my clients to help them optimize their functioning and well-being, and to achieve their life goals. I use a person-centered and strengths-based approach and individualize my treatment plan to meet each client’s needs.
I have completed two fellowships; one at the Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt and one at the Johns Hopkins Eating Disorders Program. I am also a part-time faculty member at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where I have been active in research, clinical work and education. I have lectured on and led educational workshops on eating disorders.
