Anxious feelings, depression, life changes and past trauma can lead to being overwhelmed in the present. I work with all ages. For adolescents, anxiety about friends, academic pressure, frustration, poor self-esteem, feeling angry/ upset, or lonely. Adult responsibilities, history, and pressures, combined with deeply ingrained ways of coping, can make for poor functioning and relationship struggles. Older adults may be struggling with the emotional pressure of family, changing health and circumstances/ stage of life. If things are not working for you and you wish to make changes, please feel free to call and see we are a good fit.
I have clients of all ages. By using ACT, together we consider current functioning, identify strengths, and create a plan for each client to become the person they want to be. My strength as a therapist lies in helping clients identify what is holding them back, as well as where they want to go, and how to get there.
