Life sometimes brings difficulties, hurts, or trauma that can overwhelm us. I provide a warm, accepting, and gentle approach to helping people grow, heal, and hope again. I work with individuals to discover new ways of thinking, gain new perspectives, and learn skills to overcome anxiety, depression, trauma and emotional pain. Sometimes we need to be heard and believed. Other times we need direction, and relief from distress or anguish. There is good news! There is hope! I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have received certificates in EMDR, Trauma-Focused-CBT, Triple-P parenting education, and perinatal/postpartum mental health. I provide art and play therapies to children and young teens as well as an eclectic approach with adults.
With over fifteen years' experience working with adults, children, teens, and families, I have gained a greater love for people, and a belief that individuals can heal, grow stronger, and become more resilient. It is my hope that you too will discover greater contentment, joy, and a healthier life.
