Life can be tough sometimes, whether it be a challenging life transition, processing trauma, or contemplating if your current relationship is your best path forward. Working together to develop a plan for your own wellness, without judgment, is the goal. For people who are uncertain about their relationship to alcohol and other drugs, we can explore this together without the expectation for abstinence. I understand people ebb and flow with their use and not everyone needs to give it up to recover from problematic use. Families of people who use drugs often feel scared and powerless, but you are powerful, you can make a difference.

I offer individual and couples counseling as well as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based intervention for traumatic memories and negative core beliefs. I offer harm reduction therapy for people who use drugs, without judgement, coercion, discrimination, or requiring that people stop using drugs as a precondition of support.

Everyone can benefit from exploring relationships and building wellness into their lives. We can work together to meet your goals without stigma or judgment. I am both divorced and now happily married for almost 30 years and have three grown children of my own. We can meet in-person at our Pennington, NJ location, or virtually.

Not everyone who uses alcohol or other drugs has a problem with their use. Recreation use is real! In fact the majority of US adults recreational use a drug of some kind. The stigma put upon people who use drugs can be difficult, and perhaps you are using in a may that may be risking harm to yourself or others. Together we can explore recreational use of drugs and while reducing any potential harm. If you'd like to explore trying to reduce your use, we can do that too. We can learn from each other in this group environment.

EMDR Supervision Group

I am an EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training (CIT) and hold a group EMDR supervision every Monday from 3:00-4:30 virtually. The group is $50 per person. I also offer individual EMDR supervision for $150 a session. After you complete your EMDR training, you must secure 20 hours of supervision to be certified as an EMDR therapist. At least 10 of the hours must be obtained through individual, EMDR-focused consultation. The remaining 10 hours may be obtained through small group consultation. Consultation groups will not exceed more than eight participants at a time to be compliant with EMDRIA requirements.
