I enjoy assisting adults, parents and their children understand how to grow and maneuver their way through life's challenges. It can be overwhelming not know how to deal with anxiety, stress, and social expectations when you don't know how to open up. This can take its toll and make anyone feel powerless. Discovering how fear and anxiety grows over time while interfering with daily tasks can improve self-esteem, confidence and create strong bonds between parents and children. I am also available to assist with Immigration cases involving, UVisa, VAWA, Asylum and Extreme Hardship by writing Psychological Evaluations.
Utilizing CBT therapeutic skills and motivational interviewing, can assist you gain the ability to deal with nervous tensions, feelings of dread and the inability to relax. Also by providing psychoeducation on how systems work together we can focus on creating goals towards being productive at home, work and school.
I work with individuals but can work towards group sessions if needed. I want to know where you are and how you're feeling before adding other perspectives. I'm currently seeing clients through Telehealth and offer flexible scheduling. After a few in office sessions I offer Virtual Reality as a therapeutic tool to assist in focusing and re-centering.
