Then as we progress in therapy we can add new goals as they come up. I always want to be sure you are getting what you need in your therapy experience. It is very important to me that my clients feel that the therapy environment is safe and productive and that you feel that you are a part of the therapy process.
Offering services in a rural location means addressing a variety of counseling issues, especially the dual diagnosis patient. I have made it a point to continue my education each year covering many topics and skills. It is for this reason that is important I have been able to add the Master Addiction Counselor certification.
Research and studies have confirmed counseling (psychotherapy) is an effective treatment for many people.
