Hey there, Sandy Oliver, LCSW at your service! I love empowering people to recognize their strengths, heal past hurts, and reach their full potential and purpose. I am honest, straight forward and rely on my faith to guide me in helping clients heal. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, trauma-focused CBT, storytelling, role play, and photography as forms of therapy. I focus on the root cause of a problem, help you work through that, and focus on how to maintain a new way of thinking, acting, responding and being.
I work with multiple types of clients, I am culturally diverse and believe everyone has a voice that needs to be heard and a face that should be seen. I treat sexual abuse survivors of all ages and types, depression, anxiety, PTSD, self-harm, low self-esteem, and couples therapy.
Life is serious and at times difficult which is why my job exists so I like to make sessions comfortable and even fun. The more we learn to laugh at ourselves, life, and problems the less stress, anxiety, and frustration we feel.
