I work with those living with anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, ASD to identify their symptoms, potential triggers and to identify coping strategies. Teens and young adults work with me to process experiences, identify triggers and learn more adaptive cognitive, behavioral and emotional strategies to alleviate, eliminate, manage or build resilience. I work with Latinx, LGBTQ+, AAPI and BIPOC individuals and I'm attuned to the ways in which historical injustices and political structures affect the mental health of individuals. I use CBT, DBT, ACT, solution-focused, trauma-focused and attachment based theories.

I collaborate with clients to identify precipitating events that may have led to some of their symptoms or disorders and we work together to identify new patterns/coping skills; develop more adaptive behavioral responses to replace current reactions; find language; develop relationship skills to increase systems of support and reduce symptoms.
Clients process their experiences and build skills in an emotionally safe space. I use accepting language, so that you will feel comfortable sharing your strengths, challenges and opportunities. Through hearing your story, we'll start to get a picture of where you've been, currently are and where you want to go!
