I have been in private practice since 1987. I have worked in the field of Child Welfare, hospitals, the prison system, Veterans Hospitals, Viet Nam Veterans Centers, Domestic Violence for the military and private agencies. Depression, Adjustment Disorders marital/couples, and work related stress are a large part of my practice.
It has not been unusual for old clients to refer someone to me or to return for treatment.
I do have some clients who seek me out because I am listed in some areas as a Christian Counselor, and I also specialize in working with trauma victims.
My usual method of treatment is Cognitive Behavioral which is accomplished through individual, couples, family, and group counseling.
