About
Looking for a Psychologist can be an overwhelming task. I work in a collaborative way respecting each person's unique history, personality, cultural context, strengths, weaknesses and goals. I offer a warm, respectful and compassionate environment that promotes growth. I have extensive experience and expertise working with adults in psychotherapy struggling with depression, grief, anxiety, fears, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions and creative blocks that interfere with daily living in terms of creating and maintaining meaningful relationships or realizing fulfilling career goals.
I have specific advanced training in child & adolescent psychology, play therapy and parenting. I work with children, adolescents, young adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, divorce, learning differences, ADHD, adoption, loss, and identity issues. I work closely with parents helping them understand developmental issues and temperament.
Psychotherapy is an opportunity to find increased self awareness, meaning and a deeper connection to all aspects of one's life. I am a graduate psychoanalyst of the New Center for Psychoanalysis where I teach in the Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program. I also provide supervision at the Wright Institute, LA and in my private practice..
