I have worked in the field of addiction for the past 21 years and in that time I have developed an eclectic, "meet you where you are" approach to therapy. I am trained in EMDR to address a variety of issues including trauma and have additional training in transpersonal EMDR. Most substance abuse is a symptom of underlying trauma. Having witnessed the rewarding miracle of recovery, I believe everyone is capable and deserving of healing. I bring to my private practice a vast array of experiences to help you on your recovery journey whether that's in a 12 step program or through transpersonal energy work.
I am here to help you find your solutions and healing on what can seem a lonely and daunting road. Other co-occurring issues I also work with are; grief, chronic relapse, anxiety, depression, PTSD, codependency, trauma, and women's issues. I am also level I trained in clinical hypnosis.
I am licensed to complete bio-psychosocial substance abuse assessments and evaluations for legal purposes.
