My name is Sandra Fortson and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth services to clients throughout the beautiful state of California. I work with individuals ranging in age from adolescence to late adulthood to address various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficult life transitions. My work incorporates the use of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as experiential approaches such as Brainspotting to best meet the unique and varying needs of each individual.
My communication style with clients is open, empathetic, and nonjudgmental. When communicating with my clients in any capacity, my goal is that they are left with a sense of trust, empowerment, and understanding.
