I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), licensed to see clients in New Jersey and Wisconsin. I earned my Masters Degree in Psychology from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have extensive experience working with a diverse population of adults and adolescents. I believe my role my role as a therapist is to listen, understand and to help you feel emotionally safe and accepted. I believe that we all have strengths and my goal is to help you identify what they are so you can become the best version of yourself.
Our first session is designed for us to get to know each other. We generally start with a brief introduction and an overview my approach to therapy. I will then ask questions that will be useful in creating a mutually agreed plan to approach therapy.
I truly believe my purpose is to help others. I want clients to learn to gain self-compassion and understand about themselves without judgement. When working with clients, I understand that the most important aspect is to establish a mutually trusting and respectful relationship.
