I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialty in Sex Therapy. I work with adult individuals that want to feel more connected with their inner selves, understanding that they are responsible for their own desire. As a sex therapist I am familiar with various sexual issues that have a direct impact on the individual and their relationships. For couples therapy, I integrate different therapeutic modalities to help couples building bridges to sexual desire and having the sex life they want or that is “good enough” for them.
My approach to therapy is positive, directive and research based. I integrate Gottman method for couple’s therapy, attachment and emotion focus theories, cognitive behavioral, rational emotive, dialectical and mindfulness approaches. During the sessions individuals will learn to accept themselves and others, using their strengths to overcome their weaknesses
