Hello! In addition to expertise on human behavior, having a wealth of life experience provides me with a level of sensitivity and empathy with others that brings a unique enrichment to the counseling experience. I am a bit unconventional, and provide a genuine and safe, nonjudgmental space as a guide on your personal growth journey. Practicing a holistic approach, I incorporate wellness of mind, body, and spirit into my work, fostering healing at a deeper level. I specialize in healing from narcissistic and relational abuse, relational trauma, codependency, trauma, and attachment wounds.
My theoretical orientation is integrative in nature, and I utilize various theories depending on your needs. Some of my favorite approaches are Existentialism, Choice, Narrative, CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Attachment. My foundational theory is person-centered as I believe genuine unconditional positive regard is a critical agent for growth.
I will walk beside you as a guide on your healing journey. If you’ve been to other counselors and didn’t quite feel like it was a good fit, please reach out; finding the right counselor is paramount to successful healing.
