“Life is a journey to be experienced, not a problem to be solved.”-Winnie the Pooh
Too often, we see our children’s mental health or behavioral challenges as a “problem to be solved” instead of an experience in life. This can make us and our kids feel stuck or hopeless. It is okay to be uncomfortable in our journeys and I am here to sit with your child and help them navigate through the ups and downs of their own life experiences. When we view life as a journey and not a problem, it opens up a world of possibilities for growth.
I enjoy working with ages 4-24 anxiety, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiance (ODD), self-harm, anger management, school issues, adoption, coping skills, peer relationships, and parenting.
I am very passionate about advocating for the needs of children/teens and empathetic to the change that each stage of life can bring. I make it a priority to create a safe, trusting and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore emotional difficulties and learn new coping strategies to help manage symptoms.
