About

I have tremendous compassion for those who are struggling and I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help. My approach to helping is nonjudgmental, warm, and collaborative with the goal of helping you get (back) in touch with your own inner wisdom. I have a special place in my practice for those who’ve been hurt by sexual trauma, interpersonal trauma or bullying/discrimination, and I’m passionate about working with women at midlife - the dominant narrative calls it a crisis, but I believe it can be a magical time of healing and self-actualization.
For 19 years I’ve been helping people heal from the effects of trauma, manage symptoms of anxiety & depression, examine relationships with alcohol/other substances, understand the origins of shame, & increase insight, hope & self-compassion. Whatever your reason for seeking support it is my desire to provide a space where you feel safe, believed & supported.
My practice is trauma informed, inclusive of all identities and sensitive to power and privilege differentials. I’m influenced by a variety of treatment modalities and introduce them as they are helpful and meaningful to you, giving priority to establishing a safe therapeutic connection. I would be honored to assist you in your process of healing.
