She received her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP program and enjoys working with children (7+), adolescents, and adults of all ages. She enters every counseling relationship with a person-centered approach and uses a variety of counseling techniques and theories as appropriate for specific client situations. Techniques and theories could include elements from Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Adlerian Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, DBT, Art Therapy, and many others.

I am a child and teen therapist that specializes in helping kids and teens manage their feelings, anxieties and impulses. I support my clients to understand and verbalize their feelings as well improve social skills. I use both talk therapy and play therapy depending on the developmental level of my client. I view parents and myself as a team working together to help your child become the best version of themselves. I am an AutPlay Certified provider, I am currently working towards my certification to become a Registered Play Therapist and I am EMDR trained.
