I also appreciate working with clients who are of Native American background and I am very knowledgeable of the culture of the Akimel O'odham people. I also utilize integrated therapies such as DBT, CBT and Existential therapy when working with those experiencing grief and loss and seek to assist clients experiencing bereavement. My name is Hope and I am a graduate clinical intern attending Grand Canyon University pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling practicing under supervision (at Compassionate Heart Christian Counseling). I am a dog mom to three amazing yorkie mixes, a lover of Crossfit, a follower of Jesus, and my favorite way to spend time is with family. I have been in the counseling field for 25 years. I incorporate what I have learned from my experience as a clinician at multiple residential eating disorder treatment centers as well as a residential PTSD/trauma treatment center.

I enjoy working with the LGBTQ+ community, support black lives, and have lived experience in transitions of faith from high demand religion in relation to existential crisis's and development. Women's issues, parenting, and family systems. Couples going through various transitions as well as those dealing with divorce. I view each of these issues through the lens of trauma.
